Son is an inspiration to mom
A year ago, 12-year-old Tristen Perrin made a life-changing decision. He told his mother he wanted to be healthier and stronger. Pretty strong words coming from such a young kid, but Tristen was committed. Back then, Annette Perrin described her son as “shy, with a huge love of sports.” He regularly played football and basketball, and loved watching his two favorite teams , the Saints and Pelicans. Annette supported her son’s desire for a healthier lifestyle, and signed him up to work out with a trainer, Gary at GLS Next Level Performance. But working out was only half of the battle. Tristen knew he needed to change his eating habits. Tristen’s sister told him about Healthy Course Meals, and he was hooked. In the past 6 months, Tristen has lost 30 pounds.

Lost Weight, Gained Confidence
Tristen’s mom is happy about his weight-losss, but says it’s more about what he has gained. Annette says her son is more outdoing. He’s no longer that shy kid. She says he’s much more confident now, and not afraid to talk to people.
Annette is very proud of her son for the changes he’s made. She’s thankful to his trainer Gary and Healthy Course Meals for helping him to make it happen. She says Tristen is, without a doubt, her inspiration to be healthier.
